What Do Butterflies Eat?   Developing an Emergent Curriculum
This two-part workshop will help us identify children’s questions and interests and learn ways that we can develop an emerging curriculum that is engaging and meaningful for the children, the teachers and the families in our settings. Emphasis will be on creative thinking and the joy of learning through shared investigation. We will discuss ways to incorporate learning goals, parent involvement, creative expression, sensory learning and community resources. Jot down some starting points that indicate topics, experiences or questions you, your children or their parents have expressed interest in.
