DESCRIPTION: Using the Zero to Three Preventing Child Abuse and Neglect Curriculum this module focuses on supporting all families and creating a family centered program.        

OBJECTIVES:  This module is designed so that participants will acquire the knowledge and skills needed for them to:

* implement a child care program that is responsive to family needs,

* acknowledge the family as a full partner in care of their child(ren),

* use observation and reflection to develop responses to parents,

* assist parents in understanding temperament, and

* identify a range of interventions that can support positive parenting.
