“Use your words”, we hear ourselves say each day as very young children shift from gesture to jargon to more traditional words and language.  This session helps to see the opportunities in gesture, sign and script-making with toddlers during this difficult developmental transition.  This interactive session will offer perspective and strategies to teachers so that they can be more effective “listeners” to read the social cues of children.
