Vermont law requires that children are up-to-date on their immunizations. Licensed and registered childcare providers are now part of a broad-scale effort to protect the health of Vermont's children by making sure that young children are vaccinated against serious diseases. Beginning in the fall of 2011, new vaccine requirements will be in effect, and childcare providers will be required to submit a brief annual report on the overall immunization status of children in their care.

New reporting will differ from child care reports requested years ago. Just a brief online survey. Only aggregate counts will be required, no reports will be requested on individual children.
