Johnson Winter Carnival will be held on Saturday, February 11th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Johnson Elementary School and the Legion Field. There will be a variety of activities for kids; pre-school activities, 4-H crafts, cake walk, animal track identification etc. Winter Carnival will feature live entertainment on stage and ice skating with a warming fire on Legion field. The Historical Society will be selling lunch items that include homemade soups, chili, baked beans and hot dogs and the PTA will have a bake sale.
The Johnson Conservation Commission will lead a snowshoe trek at 1:30 at the town owned Prindle Lot. Details and sign-up will be at the Carnival.
The United Chruch of Johnson will start the day off with a Breakfast served at the church starting at 8:00 a.m. (charge) and the 5/6 Grade will host a supper and silent auction (charge) with two seatings at 5:00 and 6:30.
Everyone is invited to build a snowman or snowwoman and dress them up for the occasion!
