The Lamoille Family Center is pleased to host a new Parenting Education workshop for families.  'Unconditional Parenting' addresses the way parents think about, feel about, and act with their children and invites them to question their most basic assumptions about raising kids.  This refreshing new look at parenting challenges parents to re-think daily interactions with their children and encourages them to re-connect with their own best instincts.  Instead of asking, "How do we get kids to do as they're told?" author Alfie Kohn asks, "What do kids need and how can we meet those needs?"

This *Free* Parenting Workshop is based on the book 'Unconditional Parenting' by Alfie Kohn.  There is a $10 fee for the book, with scholarships available.  This program is a 6 session series:  4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22 & 5/29.
