Playgroups provide children and parents with the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of other families. Children learn to socialize and play cooperatively with other children. Parents enjoy the company of other adults while learning about children’s development and community resources. During the playgroup, parents and kids play games, participate in arts and crafts activities and are provided with healthy snacks. Children also participate in reading and singing.

Playgroups are offered from September through May and follow the school calendar. Some summer groups may be held.
