Nearly fifty people attended the Lamoille Family Center’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday June 23^rd.

Guests enjoyed tasty food while networking with colleagues, chatting with old friends, and learning more about the Family Center.  A formal program, led by LFC Board Chair Dan Regan, included highlights of the past year, recognition of Dave Connor for more than 18 years of service to the Family Center, and welcoming Scott Johnson as the new LFC Executive Director. 

In addition, Learning Together graduate Nicolle Poucher bravely spoke to the crowd about her extensive involvement with the Family Center over the past four years.  She described involvement with approximately ten programs and services at the Family Center, suggesting that her favorite time has been with the weekly babies’ group for new parents. 

The program concluded with recognition of Concept2 as the LFC 2010 Outstanding Supporter of the Year.  For years, Concept2 has been a leader in the community in supporting non-profit activities, including those at the Family Center.       

The Family Center now looks cautiously ahead with a dedicated staff and Board, strong community partnerships and an ever increasing demand for services.  There will be much to share at the 2011 Annual Meeting!
