The Lamoille Family Center organizes two projects every year to make the holidays a bit brighter for area families. 

The Holiday Project, taking place on December 17^th, allows parents or guardians who have registered with the Family Center choose new toys for their children as well as donated books, hats and mittens.  Families must complete 2 hours of community service during the year in order to participate in this project.  To register to participate in this project, call Wendy at 888-5229. 

If you would like to help, you can:
     Donate new, unwrapped toys, stocking stuffers, hats and mittens for children up to age 12
     Donate money to be used to purchase new toys
     Donate new or gently used children’s books
     Volunteer your time to help staff the event
     Refer families in need to this project
     Ask friends, family, co-workers, etc to donate items to this project

The Adopt a Family Project allows service providers to refer families to be matched with a donor (family, business, religious group, etc) who shops for the members of the family based upon a wish list.  Families can only participate in this project once in a lifetime.  To refer a family, call Veronica at 888-5229.

If you would like to help, you can:
     Become a donor
     Asking friends, family, co-workers, etc to become a donor
     Refer families in need to this project (direct them to a service provider who they work with to make the referral)
