Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2011 Climb for Kids fundraising hike to benefit the Lamoille Family Center! We are pleased to announce that the event raised nearly $10,000, netting $7,500 after expenses! This success was due to the generous support of the many sponsors, hikers and volunteers who contributed their time, funds, goods and services.  

The Family Center organized this hike as a way to raise funds to support critical services including high quality child care, home visiting, parent education, playgroups, child care resource and referral, youth services, and emergency assistance. 

Participants collected pledges to hike one of the three trails at Elmore State Park. The event included food, musical entertainment, and other family activities.  Individuals and teams (family, friends, school group, religious group, service group, etc) were encouraged to participate.
