Reach Up Job Coach

The Lamoille Family Center seeks a full-time Job Coach to support Reach Up participants to secure and maintain employment. The Family Center is in its 42nd year of encouraging, educating, and celebrating children, youth, and families and reaches over 4,000 Lamoille Valley residents each year. You could be part of this highly collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities include: member of employment team with partner agencies; assist participants with resume writing, job applications and interview preparation; cultivate and maintain community service and employment sites; provide coaching services to individuals once employed including on-site visits, teaching workplace etiquette and social skills, and troubleshooting solutions to maintain employment; and serve as a liaison between the worksite supervisor and individual.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; understanding of the barriers to employment; knowledge of local and state employment programs; ability to engage with a variety of partners including program participants, worksites, state agencies, and other non-profit organizations; and excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills.

Children’s Integrated Services Assistant Manager

The Lamoille Family Center seeks a qualified individual to assist in leading our Children’s Integrated Services program. The Family Center is in its 42nd year of encouraging, educating, and celebrating children, youth, and families and reaches over 4,000 Lamoille Valley residents each year. You could be part of this highly collaborative and supportive work environment.

This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to aid the integration of early childhood services in the Lamoille Valley in an effort to most effectively serve young children & their families.  Responsibilities include assisting the CIS Program Manager with staff support & supervision, budget oversight, data analysis & reporting, intake & referral, leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, program outreach, & compliance with State & Federal regulations.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience managing & delivering early childhood services.  Knowledge of early childhood development, local & statewide resources, & best practice programs.  Ability to foster team work & engage staff in a supportive environment.   Excellent administrative, organizational, & communication skills.

Child Care Center Substitutes

The Lamoille Family Center has an ongoing need for substitutes to work in our licensed 5 STAR Child Care Center, which serves children 6 weeks to 2 years of age.  Substitutes are needed to fill in for planned and unplanned staff absences.

Qualifications:
18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with young children, knowledge of child development, ability to be flexible.
