Family Center Offers Free 3-Session Parenting Class
The Lamoille Family Center will offer a free parenting class Wednesdays, 9/12, 9/19, & 11/27 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Family Center. The course will use the book and video developed by Dr. Thomas Phalen on 1-2-3 Magic; Effective Discipline for children ages two to twelve. 1-2-3 Magic provides participants with parenting strategies for children without yelling, arguing, or spanking. Parents will learn techniques to help children stop certain behaviors, start desired behaviors, and reinforce the bonds between parent and child.

Free Parenting Class for Fathers
The Lamoille Family Center is pleased to announce the formation of a Parenting Class Thursdays, 9/13/18 – 12/13/18, 5:00-7:00 p.m, designed uniquely for fathers entitled “Journey to Fatherhood.” Being a dad and raising children in today’s world is tough andrewarding work! Fathers LOVE their children and want what’s best for them. The “Journey to Fatherhood” program is a chance for dads to come together in a confidential place to connect with other men, share parenting challenges, struggles, rewards and successes, and work on goals that will improve their lives and the lives of their children.
